“ One of the top restaurants in the area. Delicious food, great atmosphere and one of a kind service. I’ve been a few times with big groups in both cases and the huckleberry cocktail they serve is delicious. ”
“ I detoured here for dinner one night while road-tripping from Whitefish to Yellowstone. For starters, they get an A for vibe and ambiance, inside and out. It's a full-blown ranch with a gravel road leading up a hill, and horses outside, yet it still feels luxurious and cozy in every way inside. They have a solid menu; it's not super extensive but has a good variety for different moods. The complimentary toasted sourdough and butter were very tasty. When I mention bread service in a review, it's good! The elk meatball had decent flavors, but the ricotta helped elevate it a lot. It was an enjoyable starter and came out in like 2 minutes. For the entree, the cook on the salmon was literal perfection!.. super crispy skin and my knife went through it like butter. The sauce was amazing and super unique; I could eat it with anything. Overall, service was good, and it was well worth the 30-minute detour! ”

“ This place was amazing!!! We had lunch there twice and breakfast once. The staffs there are so nice and friendly and funny. We had an amazing time everytime we went there. The steak was to die for. Everything else we ordered was so delicious. We also had a ride around the place with the small cabins and saw the horses. Not to mention the view. This place has everything to make you feel great along with the foods, drinks and atmosphere! ”
“ I visited Montana for the first time in June and had dinner at Horn & Cantle. This quickly became our favorite restaurant of the trip. I consider myself a food snob, coming all the way from Boston. Not only was the food exceptional, but the ambiance made it a top notch dining experience. The chef even came out to chat with us, which added a personal touch to an already fantastic evening. I had one of the best steaks I've ever eaten, paired with an outstanding espresso martin and delicious au gratin potatoes! I highly recommend this place and we're already looking forward to returning next June. To top it all off, my boyfriend proposed just outside the restaurant, down by the goats, who were our witnesses for the occasion. This place will always be special to me. ”
“ I visited Big Sky for the first time a the end of March and ate here with my sister and 2 friends. We started our night in the bar section, which was an incredible vibe - live music and an all around great time. The singer Amanda was so so sweet ( talented) and gave us great tips for our time in Big Sky. Our dining experience was hands down the best I ever had in my life. Our server Joel was elite. Not only did he cater to every dietary restriction (nuts for me and celiac for my friend), but he had us laughing non-stop. He looked adorable in his cowboy outfit and his personality matched. The food was delicious. Everything all four of us ate was divine. I am super picky and difficult to please, but Joel made sure we were 1000% satisfied with everything we ate. His attention to detail was unmatched. The service we received was incomparable to anywhere I have ever eaten dinner. As someone with a severe nut allergy, I can confidently say he went above and beyond. Do not skip out on visiting this restaurant on your trip to Big Sky. It was our first trip out and definitely not our last. PS - If you're lucky, you'll have a celebrity sighting like we did! ”
